Educators: Want to learn more on providing girls' pathways to leadership?
09/25/2014

Girl scientists

You may have heard someone say, "Girls have it so much better today than they used to." You may have even said it yourself.

Well, recent studies have shown that implicit bias among middle and high school educators about gender and leadership remains a challenge, one that might discourage girls from moving into a variety of leadership roles.

Join NEA President Lily Eskelsen García and U.S. and international trailblazers on women's leadership in a conversation on how you can facilitate learning environments in the classroom that can foster girls’ leadership.

We're currently soliciting questions for the panel. So, if you'd like to submit questions now, mention @ISTAmembers or @Lily_NEA on Twitter using the hashtag #GirlsLead.
