Hoosiers: You have 1 week to register to vote for the May 6th election
03/31/2014

vote-pins_2010.jpgAre you still not registered to vote? Have you recently moved? Did you register years ago and want to check your registration status?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you have 1 week from today to get registered to vote in Indiana.

Hoosiers with a current Indiana driver's license or state issued identification card can visit www.IndianaVoters.com to register to vote online or check their registration status.

As we reported in January, the Indiana legislature recently made registering to vote by using the paper forms a little more inconvenient and confusing. We continue to urge those who cannot register to vote online to utilize the federal voter registration form which can be downloaded here: National_Voter_Registration_Form.pdf

It has never been more important for educators and supporters of public schools to vote for candidates who know the value of our state’s public schools and the educators who help make them great.

The deadline to register to vote is April 7.
