Indiana teachers gather for statewide conference

GTC-Logo.jpgISTA’s first Good Teaching Conference was held on Saturday, March 21 at Southport High School. More than 300 teachers from across the state attended. The event featured a wide range of topics focusing on the improvement of teaching for K-12 educators.

 

A luncheon honored ISTA members Kathy Nimmer and Kelly Wilber. Nimmer is the 2015 Indiana Teacher of the Year and one of four finalists for National Teacher of the Year. Wilber is the 2015 winner of the Milken Educator Award.
