ISTA submits recommended appointments to State Board of Education

With SEA 1 passed by the legislature, and now signed by the governor, the makeup of State Board of Education will now be getting an overhaul.

 

With this in mind, ISTA has submitted a list of recommended candidates for appointment to the state board. Friday afternoon, ISTA President Teresa Meredith delivered the list of recommended candidates to the governor, speaker of the House and Senate pro tempore.

 

The recommended candidates were all ISTA members who could bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the board.
