Lifetime Achievement Award

Purpose

The ISTA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes outstanding local leaders for their involvement on the local, district or state level.

 

Qualifications
Any active Association member is eligible to receive the award.

Nomination
All members are urged to nominate deserving members. Leaders may be nominated in the year of their retirement or the year immediately following their retirement.

Selection of Recipient
A subcommittee of the Governance Committee will be charged to judge the nominees with a recommendation to the Board of Directors, which shall have sole authority over the awards. There will be no limit in the number of awards given in one year.

Presentation
Recipients will receive an appropriate certificate and be recognized at the Representative Assembly. The names of recipients will be placed on a plaque in the ISTA Building.

Deadline
All members and local affiliates must submit their nominations by March 1.
