Pence stopped meeting with Ritz after creating CECI
11/29/2013

Increased gridlock has been ever so apparent since Governor Pence created, without legislative approval, his new duplicate education agency the Center for Education and Career Innovation (CECI). According to Superintendent Ritz, monthly meetings between Governor Pence and herself stopped after Pence signed into creation the CECI. Until their meeting earlier this week, nearly 100 days passed since their last meeting.

We believe the solution to restoring some trust and bringing all parties back together would be for Governor Pence to dissolve the CECI and let Superintendent Ritz do her job, just as 1.3 million voters elected her to do.
