Taxpayers aren't getting much in return from corporate charter school operators

A closer look at the school grades of two of the several corporate, for-profit, charter school operators in Indiana reveals that taxpayers aren’t getting much in return for their money.

The large campaign donor of Tony Bennett and for-profit charter school operator, Charter Schools USA, operates 3 Indianapolis takeover schools:  Emma Donnan Middle School, Manual High School and Howe High School each received a grade of F.

K12, Inc., another for-profit charter school operator, has cyber (virtual) schools in Indiana and it didn’t fare too well, either. Two of its three schools received an F. The third received a C.
