Winners of Summer Conference PSO giveaways show off swag

The Professional Staff Organization (PSO) is proud to support ISTA members – in the classroom, at the office and during professional development conferences. PSO raffled prizes at the Summer Conference in June. Two members, Gina Boyd and Marydell Forbes, won Apple watches. Julia Reef, Marcie Herring, LaDonna McGhee, Deb Jackson and Donna Price all won a $250 gift cards to Staples – just in time for back to school!
“I was thrilled to win the Apple watch, and the timing couldn’t have been better,” said Boyd. “A big thanks to everyone involved. The Summer Conference is always informative and enjoyable, and this win was icing on the cake."

Reef used her Staples gift card to buy a digital camera. She’ll certainly find uses in and out of the classroom for that purchase.
“I was so excited when I won a $250 Staples gift card,” said Herring. “I bought supplies I normally would buy but included some splurges, like Ticonderoga pencils. I still have more to buy, so it just goes to show how much money educators spend of their own money.”
The annual Summer Conference is designed to improve the work of the Association, while offering a variety of professional development opportunities and serving as an excellent venue to network with colleagues from across the state.
